According to the Ministry of National Planning and Economic Development, Teak is recognised as the most valuable premium wood. Historically being one of the largest producers of Teak historically , due to excessive demand and exploitation in the last four decades, India is now considered as a timber deficit country and it has to import both teak and other hardwoods to meet the demand of its growing population and its wood based industries.

The growing international boycotts on harvesting natural teak makes the problem more compounded and the only solution at sight is creating an alternative supply through cultivated plantations.

Our teak trees are grown from research enabled tissue culture and scientific methods which when cultivated using our process oriented scientific methods can be harvested within 15 years cycles or else according to demand. Tissue Culture Burma Teak Project cultivation allows for faster planting cycles of between 12 – 15 years as per demand of the market, rather than 20-25 years.
